Music

    Classical

My journey with classical guitar began over four years ago shortly before starting at Chapman University and I've had the privilege of expanding my skills in their program.

I traveled to Italy to study the art of luthiery firsthand, where I acquired my beautifully handcrafted instrument.

I've had the privilege of interpreting works by composers like Francisco Tárrega, Toru Takemitsu, and Luiz Bonfá exploring the emotional depth and technical precision of the classical repertoire.

With over eight years of experience on jazz guitar, my flow is rooted in a love for the greats—Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Charles Mingus, and many more.

For guitar inspiration, I am awestruck by Wes Montgomery.

I’m driven by a spirit of exploration, which led me to teach myself saxophone and trumpet.

While I'm still early in my journey with those instruments, I bring the same dedication and adaptability to learning as I do to performing.

I began playing rock electric guitar nearly a decade ago, sparked by long drives through the hills with my dad, the car filled with the sounds of classic rock.

That early connection shaped my style and passion, and ever since, rock has remained a powerful part of my musical identity.

Although I’ve sung casually throughout my life—my formal vocal journey began about a year ago when I joined Chapman University's Men of Harmony a cappella group.

That experience opened up a deeper connection to music I’ve always felt, and singing has quickly become another true passion.

It's offered me a new way to engage emotionally, listen closely, and contribute to the collective sound of an ensemble.
